Rohan Welsh founded New Generation Signs Pty Ltd in 1997. Through passion, quality products, and dedicated customer service the business has seen dramatic growth, and with this success has come a greater expansion of capabilities and a wider business offering.

NGS provides a complete range of services in the signage and POS arenas. We pride ourselves on being able to produce considered solutions that are the most creative and cost-effective on the market. The investment we have made in large format digital printing technology and the expert in-house design and signage team have elevated us to the forefront of our craft.

Company Timeline

1997

1 January 1997

Started up first small business (New Generation Signs) in a double car garage in East Doncaster with business partner Garry Nelson. Predominately doing work for K-Mart National and New Zealand.

2000

1 January 2002

Moved into current large factory in Greensborough and then expanded into the joining property only 4 years later in 2004.

2012

1 January 2004

Rohan Welsh took sole ownership of the business and changed its trading name to NGS Group P/L and had vision for the company to expand further. With that vision NGS Group grew to accommodate not only signage, but POS and Product Sourcing on a global scale.

2017

25 June 2020

NGS Group achieved the milestone of 20 years in business and celebrated by holding a large in-house function for past and present staff and clients.

NGS Group currently employ approximately 20 qualified staff and trades throughout Australia and continue to grow and diversify with the continual changing market conditions.

Rohan founded New Generation Signs Pty Ltd. In 1997. With over 35 years in the industry, he plays a very important role in establishing and maintaining relationships with all clients and our NGS Group team. Through passion, quality workmanship, and dedicated customer service (our core values), Rohan has grown the business dramatically since its inception in 1997 and with this success has come a greater expansion of capabilities and a wider business offering.

Our Account Managers come from a diverse range of technical expertise, with a collective of over 80+ years in the sign industry. Our Account Managers work collaboratively with our dedicated team to oversee the delivery of your signage requirements from your initial vision through to completion.

Graphic Design

Our team of highly qualified designers specialises in assisting clients to deliver the best outcome for your brand. With extensive design training and technology, we are skilled at creating unique and effective designs.

Production Team
